More structure details are as below: ♦ Based on the structure of breadboard, could be separated to Honeycomb type and Welding type Honeycomb type The breadboard should have high natural resonance frequency and good damping properties. The resonance frequency is related to the stiffness and quality of the object, reducing the quality or increasing the stiffness will increase the resonance frequency. Conversely, increasing the quality or decreasing the stiffness will reduce the resonance frequency. The balance of quality and stiffness is a very important concept in the design of optical table, because they can make the resonance of optical table reach low amplitude and high frequency. Obviously, this can only be achieved by increasing the stiffness of the breadboard. Because if you increase the quality in the same proportion, the resonance will not change. In order to increase the resonant frequency, stiffness must be maximized while minimizing quality. So we chose a honeycomb breadboard with high stiffness and low quality. Honeycomb breadboard has a structure with good damping performance, high stiffness and low quality characteristics, the honeycomb is made of steel bars that have been precisely crimped, and then bonded together with a high tensile strength epoxy adhesive to effectively resist bending. The addition of the isolation cup can effectively prevent the liquid from entering the honeycomb cavity and ensure the use in a clean environment.
Welding type ♦ Vibration isolators are divided into rubber isolators, precision damping isolators and air-floating isolators Rubber Isolator Precision Damping Isolator Radial stiffness is 2-3 times of axial stiffness, with good lateral stability. Rubber is subjected to both compressive and shear forces. The natural frequency is as low as 11Hz, which is suitable for occasions with certain seismic isolation requirements, such as general spectroscopy and multimode fiber coupling.
Air-Floating Isolator Double-layer air chamber design reduces the stiffness of the air-floating isolator. Orifice airflow restriction will dampen oscillating motion between ground and platform, reducing adjustment time.
